Hour of Code Week

The 5th to 11th December 2016 was International Computer Science week.  Edonians in Years 7 and 8 will took part in the internationally renowned ‘Hour of Code’ week. This initiative is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students. Over 90,000 educational institutions taking part and Eden Girls’ Waltham Forest is one of them.  Our focus is to hook our learners to want to code in a fun interactive way. All students in year 7 and 8 completed at least one of hour of code during lessons at school. Many will be encouraged to continue at home.
