Macmillan fundraising’s a piece of cake for Eden Girls’ School pupils!

Our school community raised over £300 for Macmillan Cancer as we supported the charity’s annual World’s Largest Coffee Morning event.By inviting in families and the local community to share cakes and a cuppa, we raised funds for the cancer charity which is close to many people’s hearts.

Pupils, their parents and our staff provided some magnificent cakes. Everyone enjoyed sharing a slice and our cake auction boosted our fundraising total.

Our Principal Shahina Ahmad said, “We’re fortunate to have some charitable staff, pupils and parents who donated some amazing cakes. We were impressed by their creativity and the efforts they went to in support of Macmillan Cancer.”
